Aims and Scope

Convergence of Mathematics and Statistics (COMETS) aims to become the leading journal in Southeast Asia in presenting original research articles and review papers about mathematical and statistics approaches to explain Socio-Techno Sciences phenomena. COMETS will accept high-quality articles utilizing mathematical and statistical analysis to gain Socio-Techno Sciences understanding in the fields of, but not restricted to Economic, Business, Finance, Engineering and Computer Science.

Convergence of Mathematics and Statistics (COMETS) is a peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality teory, computational and applied Mathematics and Statistics research. The journal covers areas including but not limited to:
  • Pure and Applied Mathematics – theoretical developments and practical applications of mathematical concepts.
  • Theoretical and Computational Statistics – statistical theory, inference, and computational methods for data analysis.
  • Mathematical Modeling and Simulation – construction and analysis of models representing real-world systems.
  • Probability Theory and Stochastic Processes – modeling of randomness and uncertainty in dynamic systems.
  • Operations Research and Optimization – decision-making, optimization algorithms, and systems analysis.
  • Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing – numerical methods and computational techniques for solving mathematical problems.
  • Biostatistics and Econometrics – statistical methods in biological, health, and economic studies.
  • Machine Learning and Statistical Algorithms – data-driven modeling and algorithmic approaches rooted in statistical theory.
  • Applications in Science, Engineering, and Social Systems – interdisciplinary use of mathematics and statistics to address real-world challenges.
