About the Journal

Mitigation: Journal of Atmospheric and Earth Sciences is an open access journal published by Arcstics Publishing. The journal publishes two editions per year and accepts original research articles in economics, earth sciences, environmental studies, disaster mitigation, risk assessment, economic impact analysis, resilience studies, policy evaluation, methodological innovation, and statistical applications. The journal covers topics such as economic resilience, disaster risk reduction, socioeconomic and environmental impact mitigation, development economics, environmental economics, disaster economics, climate impacts, geosciences, hydrology, climatology, natural resource management, community resilience, and public policy. The journal is managed using the Open Journal System (OJS) and can be accessed at https://journals.arcstics.id/Mitigation/. Authors must use the official MITIGATION template and follow the Author Guidelines. Manuscripts outside the journal’s scope, incorrectly formatted, or written in substandard English will be desk-rejected. Only eligible submissions will proceed to peer review.

MITIGATION: Journal of Atmospheric and Earth Sciences

Mitigation is a double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to publishing original and high-quality academic works. The journal publishes one volume annually, consisting of two regular issues released in June and December. It welcomes manuscripts from researchers, academics, educators, and practitioners from around the world. Manuscripts submitted to Mitigation may be written in English or Indonesian and must be original, unpublished, and not currently under review by another journal. To uphold academic integrity, every submission is screened using Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity score exceeding 20% will be rejected before entering the review process.
